Justin Herbert: The Rising Star

I’ve gotta shout out Justin Herbert because this guy is something special. Even though he’s still relatively new to the NFL, Herbert’s already showing he’s got what it takes to be a top-tier quarterback. Since stepping in as a rookie for the Los Angeles Chargers in 2020, he’s been nothing short of impressive. Herbert’s arm strength is absolutely phenomenal, and his accuracy is off the charts. His 2021 season was a real eye-opener—over 5,000 passing yards and 38 touchdowns. The way he can throw those deep balls and make pinpoint passes is just amazing. His composure in the pocket and his ability to stay cool under pressure are also standout qualities. He’s had some truly memorable moments already, like his game-winning drives and those incredible throws that just leave you speechless. Sure, he’s still young a...

Sam Darnold: The Struggling Starter

Sorry for another hot take, let’s get real about Sam Darnold. This guy has not lived up to the hype, and it’s been a rough ride. Since coming into the NFL with the New York Jets, Darnold’s career has been marked by inconsistency and missed opportunities. Sure, he’s shown some flashes of potential, but overall, his play has been a letdown. His 2020 season with the Jets was particularly rough, with more interceptions than touchdowns and a lot of head-scratching decisions. Darnold’s struggles are hard to ignore. His accuracy issues and inability to manage games effectively have been glaring problems. Even after his move to the Carolina Panthers, he hasn’t exactly turned things around. It feels like he’s still searching for the right fit or the right system to help him succeed. And while it’s not entirely his fault—he’s had coaching changes and inconsistent support—his performances have left a lot to be desired. At the end of the day, Sam Darnold has yet to prove he’s the quarterback tea...
