Throwback: Brett Favre: The Iron Man of the NFL

Brett Favre is one of those quarterbacks who just made you love football, you know? The guy was a total legend with the Green Bay Packers and, let’s be real, everywhere he went after that. He played with this crazy energy and toughness that made you think he’d play through anything. Favre was known for his cannon of an arm and his habit of throwing it deep into tight spots—sometimes it worked out, sometimes it didn’t, but it was always entertaining. But as the seasons went on, Wentz’s performance became a rollercoaster of highs and lows that left many scratching their heads. One of the biggest criticisms of Wentz is his inconsistency. He’s had seasons where he looked like a potential superstar, only to follow them up with frustratingly average or even poor performances. The 2017 season was a high point; he was playing at an MVP-caliber level before a knee injury cut his season short. The Eagles went on to win the Super Bowl that year, but Wentz was...
